This tutorial will show you how to assign a record to a group or user.
For step-by-step instructions, read below:
A record can either be a lead, contact, or deal which you can assign each one to a specific user or group.
Update/Assign record to a group or user.
1. Click on the button which has an eye icon to view more information.
2. Click on the edit button to update/change the information about the Lead.
3. A pop-up will appear allowing us to view the information of the lead including who they are assigned to. Scroll down to the bottom of the pop-up page and click on the drop-down menu to change the assigned group or user.
4. Click on the Save button once you’re done selecting the Assigned to value. A notification will pop up on the upper right of the page indicating that the update was successful.
You will also receive a notification when a record is assigned to you or the group that you are part of located at the upper right of the page.
