In this guide, we will show your how to use Listing syndication and smart feeds.

Create a list of listings

A feed is generated for each “List of listings”.

To provide you with more flexibility, we allow you to segment your listings by criteria and generate the feed.

If you are not familiar yet with “List of Listings” please read this guide and perform the interactive guide by connecting to your RealEstateCRM.io’s account.

We recommend you to create an “Auto List” as there are updated automatically, but if you want more control you can also create “Manual” list of listings and add your listings to the list manually.

You may have several approaches to distribute your feeds and organize your list of listings:

1. Create a generic  auto list “Published listings” with all your listings published (this is the most common)
2. Create a List of Listings by criteria. For instance, you may want to distribute on some portal a certain number of listings and also only with certain criteria. For example only luxury listings (select range: Luxury and/or defined min selling price)
3. Create a list of listings per portal. So you may want to have better control over the listings displayed on each portal

Attach portals

By default, we provide a generic XML feed that works on most portals but if you need a specific feed follow the process:

Head to Listings-> More -> Associated Portals 

Add the portal(s) you want 

If some property portals, marketplaces require a specific listing feed please submit your inquiry so we will add it.

Share the feeds

By accessing “List of Listings”, you will see an orange icon next to each list, click on it.

A window will open with the possibility to “Select the portal” and also the “Language”

You will have 2 feeds one for the Building/Multi-units and another one for listings (usually you need to share only the listings feed).

Copy this unique URL and share to your account representative in the portal so they will synchronise and import your listings.

Additional options for the General feed

By default all the listings in the “List of listings” will be available, those are updated on the interval basis you have set (by default every 12h), but we have added some extra options.

Distribute listings based on their modified dates

by adding &date_modified=7d after &language=en only the listings updated within the last 7 days will be shown.

Show approximate location

If you don’t want to show the exact location (lat/long) of your listings, you can add at the end of the URL&approx_location=1

it will generate a lat/long coordinates of a random nearby location
